Steve is an Operating Executive with demonstrated success building and scaling high-growth, category defining companies, hiring, developing, and leading high-performing teams, and achieving successful company exits.

Steve most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Big Health, a company providing automated and evidence-based digital therapeutics helping bring millions back to good mental health. Prior to Big Health, Steve was Chief Operating Office at Fixt, the first on-demand mobile device repair platform for the enterprise, and helped lead the company through a successful acquisition and integration with Assurant, a publicly traded global insurance provider. From 2015 to 2019, Steve lead operations at Lyft across New York and the Mid-Atlantic where he was responsible for revenue growth, customer acquisition, retail operations, and community engagement. In 2012, Steve founded District Ventures, an angel investment group funding and advising entrepreneurs focused on enterprise business solutions and consumer products. From 2010 to 2015, Steve was a management consultant at PRTM and PwC where he helped create an organizational resilience model and venture ecosystem program. Steve began his career serving in the US Navy for almost a decade as a Naval Flight Officer during which he deployed to the Western Pacific, South China Sea, and Iraq. He served his final tour at the White House.

Steve is an advisor at Revolution Ventures, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Georgetown University, and serves on the boards of the Greater Washington Board of Trade and DC Police Foundation. Steve is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and Georgetown University.
