• Are you really living? More and more, we fill our lives with synthetic entertainment. Our time is filled up with what wants to fill us rather than what we want. Intimacy is lost as texting, video games, and activities like these are becoming more central to our lives. We become disconnected and forgetful of what really is important.
  • What is needed to remember who we are? Be present in the now, acknowledge what is in your life and look at it (fully). Turn off the television an hour before going to bed. It trains you to be bored and look for stimulation. It puts you in an ADD mindset. Practice intentional grounding and find stillness in the evening. You can become a contributor instead of a watcher, receiver, or buyer.
  • Consider three questions? What struck me today? Consider what surprised you. What touched my heart today? Think about what touched you in your heart. What inspired me the most today? The answers to these questions branch into new ideas. We take a moment to reflect on what’s really here. Ask the questions, and you will feel closer to who you really are.
